Along the route we meet the little village of fisherman of Acquacalda until we reach the majestic white mountain of Monte Pilato. Here we stop for about 10 min.; it’s easy to be fascinated by the beauty of the crystal waters of the Bay of Porticello, where the colour comes from the white seabed created by the pumice.

Just passed the belvedere of Quattrocchi, it is possible to take the road that leads to the S.Calogero Spas. They are springs known from the antiques for thei therapeutic waters. Among the ruins of ancient buildings (flanked by a modern Spa, sadly disused), highlights a stove dome that recent studies trace at Mycenaean.
